Everyone was extremely kind and knew their brands, Averi especially was very kind and had great taste. I had just come from an uptown cheapskate Where every employee was extremely rude, had no idea what quality brands were and passed on mint condition high-end products that any other store would pick up and buy in a heartbeat. It's so sad to know that Averi has gone back to Houston to finish school. But I wish her the best and congratulate her on continuing her education. There are still amazing employees at this location and definitely know their stuff. I used to work at Buffalo Exchange a long time ago so I know that customer service and being knowledgeable about your products makes all the difference.

I went to Uptown Cheapskate first who only offered me $8 for two pairs of shoes (one never worn). I had a lot of good to like new clothing pieces , so I was surprised. I had a much better experience as a seller at Plato’s closet. Uptown cheapskate also had a lot of overpriced items (items falling apart with tears/holes and scruff marks on shoes.. the flip flops with terrible scruff marks at the front were priced at $17.99…. A pair of slippers with a hole/tear in it and missing foam on the inside .. $8.99) BUT I went to this Plato’s closet location and they offered me much more for ~12 items , $40). All the staff are friendly and greet you as you walk in, and the store is organized. The staff are attentive as well. It’s next door to a Walmart and comic/game store so you’ll have things to do while you wait for your items to be sorted through as a seller. This was my first time at a Plato’s closet as a seller and a buyer and I’ll be back!

10/10 would recommend! The process is so simple and easy compared to other places (uptown cheapskate). This location took a lot of my items for a decent price! The whole buying process took about 20min. Lilly is also so sweet and amazing. This location isn’t the closest to me but I would drive here in a heartbeat just bc of the wonderful experience I had.

Had a nice time. Store was organized, staff was friendly and helpful. Found quite a lot of things that I liked. Racks were not a mess like other stored like this. I would return. Prices on some things I felt were a bit high but so is the proce of bread so not much I can say there.

The best Plato’s closet!!! I went to another one and they wouldn’t take a lot of my stuff, I got $150 at this location for my stuff. They also dont have a bag limit which is super nice. The staff is also so sweet there. 10/10 recommend and will only be coming to this store moving forward.

This place is great. Lots of good stuff at good prices. However, it's representative of the current state of America that thrift stores are becoming the "in-thing" for shopping. I'm always down for a bargain, don't get me wrong. But I'm weird and other people are seldom excited about something like that. Shouldn't we be aspiring to a class of citizens who can afford their own brand new never before worn by another person clothing? Just saying.
